WTF is up with health?

A live, free workshop with David Barbarisi
What this workshop is about
I’ll start by telling my own health story. When I was born I was given the diagnosis of pyknodysostosis, said to be caused by a “rare genetic defect.” I had real symptoms and real limitations. I built beliefs about what those things meant, about my body, my future, and who I could be.
Later, as I made lifestyle changes and my health improved, those beliefs stopped making sense. That mismatch led me to question the health models I had been given, along with many of the assumptions built into them.
From there, I’ll share other examples of “impossible” or “miraculous” events that poke holes in the dominant health frameworks. These examples expose how flawed those frameworks actually are and demonstrate possibility beyond what we’ve been told.
Finally, I’ll give a high-level overview of the Terrain Paradigm, a fundamentally different model of health that explains adaptation, symptoms, and resilience, without fear.
A concrete example of how health labels turn into identity
Using my own story, you’ll see how diagnoses and experiences acquire meaning, and how those meanings shape behavior and expectation over time.
Exposure to outcomes that break current health models
You’ll hear examples that neither allopathic nor holistic medicine can adequately explain, and what those failures reveal about the models themselves.
A high-level orientation to terrain-based health
You’ll be introduced to the Terrain Paradigm, including topics such as microbes, microzyma, pleomorphism, symptom progression, layered influences on health, and a brief look at Holographic Blood Analysis, as concepts for understanding how we all are adapting to our environment.
